Two days later, same dance hall

Mark sat, leaning against the wall as he watched the other three guys prance around the room, practicing their ‘thrusting.’ Every now and then Mark would see Kian glance in his direction, almost as if he was making sure he was okay. Even since the other night, Kian had stuck close to Mark, being there for him, even if it was just for someone to talk to.
To tell the truth, Mark hadn’t been going to say anything to Kian, but when had shown up at his bedroom door, it had all just pored out. He had to admit, he felt a little guilty about emptying his heart out to Kian, but he certainly felt better now than he had in months.
A body dropped down next to him, surprising Mark. It was Kian.

“You right there mate? You were looking a bit troubled.”

Mark smiled, “Yeah, I was just thinking, about, you know, the other night.”

Kian gave him a quick, one armed hug and stood up, “Well, when you’re done thinking, come and join us, Kevin will be here soon.” He gave Mark a quick wink, causing him to blush.

“Kian, wait!”

Kian paused and turned around, one eyebrow raised.

“Yeah?”

“Thanks, for the other night, I never got a chance to thank you.”

Kian grinned at him, “Its okay Mark, you needed someone to talk to!”

Any further conversation was cut off by the arrival of Kevin, who quite literally bounced into the room.

“Hey everyone. Guess what?”

There was silence all ‘round.

“C’mon guys, guess!”

Nicky chuckled, “Kev, I don’t think any of us have played guess since grade school.”

That made everyone laugh, including Kevin.

“Well, humour me then. Guess.”

Still no guessing from anyone.

Kevin sighed and set his puppy dog eyes on each of the lads individually. First Shane (who just smirked and looked away), then Kian and Nicky (both who rolled their eyes and tried not to laugh)
Finally he turned to Mark, who felt himself melt under Kevin’s puppy dog eyes. Then he had an evil thought, Kevin had said to humour him, hadn’t he?

“Okay, I’ll guess.”

Kevin’s eye’s lit up, just as Mark started to laugh.

“Well? You gonna guess?”

Managing to stop laughing, Mark blurted out,

“You’re gonna dress in drag and do the hula?”

Kevin and the other guys looked shocked for a minute, before they all cracked up with laughter.
Kevin felt his legs give way underneath him, and he sunk to the ground, laughing all the way.

“…dress in drag…oh my god…hehe…hula…haha.”

Still chuckling, Kevin managed to stand up and look at Mark,

“Now that you mention it, that’s not a bad idea!”

And with that, Kevin promptly launched into Timon’s song from The Lion King, shaking his hips and waving his arms in the same way that Timon did and laughing the whole time.

If you’re hungry for a hunk of juicy meat,
Eat my buddy Pumbaa here, because he is a treat,
Come on down and dine, on this tasty swine
All you have to do is get in line.

Are you achin’ (yep yep yep)
For some bacon (yep yep yep)
He’s a big pig (yep yep)
You can be a big pig too, oy!

Kevin wasn’t planning on screaming or running, but when he saw Mark heading towards him, with an evil twinkle in his eyes, he let out a realistic ‘ahhh’ and bolted for the nearest door, still laughing, with Mark close on his heels, leaving the other guys in a pile on the floor, still laughing.

Mark laughed as he chased Kevin out the door and along the hallway, he had no idea what he was gonna do when he caught him, he guessed that he would just play it by ear.
Kevin glanced over his shoulder and saw Mark gaining on him,

“Now if only he put this much energy into dancing, we would be right!”

He took a sharp left and ran out of the building, heading out across the grassy area that surrounded the dance studios. It was a private place, with big wrought iron fences and security at each gate, so he knew he could take Mark for a merry run around the place without being worried about fans swamping him.
So lost and caught up in his thoughts, Kevin didn’t hear Mark behind him until it was too late.
Mark rugby tackled him to the ground, his fingers finding Kevin’s sides and tickling him mercilessly. Kevin withered on the ground, trying to stop the assault, but couldn’t due to laughing to hard.
Finally he managed to grab one of Mark’s arms and roll him onto his back, rolling on top of him as he did so. Mark’s blue eyes twinkled at him and Kevin grabbed the other arm, pinning them both above Mark’s head.

“Pinned ya again!”

Mark chuckled,

“Someone obviously likes that movie.” He caught Kevin’s eye and smiled.

Kevin nodded, transfixed by Mark’s gaze.

Mark knew he should look away, break the contact and go back to the hall. But it felt so good, being out here, alone with Kevin. He didn’t need websites to read or friends to talk to about it, this here, right now, was how to know he was gay.
Almost as of reading his mind, Kevin risked a quick glance at Mark’s lips, silently asking permission. Mark moved his head slightly and Kevin, taking it as a yes, moved into to kiss him.

Mark felt Kevin’s lips on his, and before he knew it, he was responding, Kevin’s tongue gently probed at Mark’s lips and he open up, slipping his own tongue into the warm cavern of Kevin’s mouth. Then all of a sudden, it hit him. What he was doing, kissing another man! Gathering the last of his strength, he freed his arms and shoved Kevin off him stumbling to his feet at the same time.

“Stay away from me, I’m not gay!”

With that, he turned and bolted back inside, tears blurring his vision.
