Westlife will be taking to the road next week visiting radio stations up and down the UK.

Shane and Kian will be heading to the Midlands, Wales and Bristol, while Nicky and Mark will be travelling around the north of England and Scotland.

The world's top female singing talent will be showcased in a spectacular ITV1 special this autumn.

Saturday Night Divas boasts a line-up of global superstars such as Celine Dion, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez.

British acts Girls Aloud, Leona Lewis, Jamelia and Natasha Bedingfield will also perform, as will R&B queen Chaka Khan.

The show, to be hosted by Myleene Klass, will mark the conclusion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and ITV music and events controller Guy Freeman said: "To get artists of this calibre from across the world on one show is a great coup."

Dion will also star in An Audience With Celine Dion on ITV1 and the channel has two other specials featuring Westlife and Kylie Minogue lined up for late autumn.

Westlife look thrilled to be shooting the video for their latest single, Home, which shows the boys strutting their stuff in leather jackets at an airport.

These exclusive behind-the-scenes shots show the irish chart-toppers posing on and aeroplane and on a flood-lit runway.

The video shows the boys going home to see their loved ones - and the single, due out on 29 October, is being tipped as a No.1.

Nicky says, "We had great fun filming the video. Even though it was the middle of the night and was freezing, we kept the energy up by messing around and making each other laugh.

"It was slightly surreal standing on a massive runway with a jumbo jet behind us at 2am, but definitely a memorable experience"

And if the single does make No.1, the boys will close in on a pop record.
An expert says, "If this singles goes to No 1 it will be their 15th UK chart-topper - only Elvis and the Beatles will have had more No1's!"

The Irish boyband tell MTV News all about their album battle with the old girls…

Westlife have spoke to us about reports The Spice Girls changed their album release to avoid a chart battle with the boys.

“I don’t know if it’s true to be honest,” Shane revealed. “That they are getting back together it’s a great thing. They were a phenomenon.”

Shane Filan added: “We were fans back then, they were a massive band!”

Westlife’s Nicky also told us: “It’s great for pop music isn’t it? Its one of those things where it’ll be the boys against girls again - it’s a bit of fun.”

The Irish lads release their new album on November 5 with the reformed girlband bringing their Greatest Hits album to the masses a week later.

The four-some then got into discussing which Spice was their favourite with all but Mark choosing Baby Spice Emma Bunton.

Mark reveals his choice of girl: “I would say ginger or posh.”

A host of celebrities will be lining up to meet real-life heroes at the Pride of Britain Awards in central London.

More than 100 celebrities including Ewan McGregor, Westlife and the Sugababes will be joined by the Prince of Wales and Gordon Brown to honour the conuntry's unsung heroes.

Among those to be recognised will be 15-year-old Megan Blunt who wrote a self-help guide to coping with cancer, after battling the disease herself and Britain's oldest man, who still visits schools at the age of 111.

And four heroes who helped to stop a suspected terrorist attack at Glasgow Airport will receive awards for outstanding bravery.

Thousands of people put forward nomintations which were whittled down by a panel of judges including Simon Cowell.

Host Carol Vorderman said: "It's a great chance to show there are amazing people in this country doing brilliant things which just take your breath away."

The awards will be broadcast at 9pm on Wednesday on ITV1.
