It’s the boys' first day back at work today after taking a well-earned break over Christmas and New Year to relax with family and friends.

This morning saw them heading into the E4 studio to do some interviews, while tomorrow the guys have got photoshoots and interviews with two magazines.

Another magazine shoot and interview follows on Thursday morning, then it’s off to the Dancing On Ice studios in the afternoon to shoot some interview footage that will be shown along with their performance on the show this Sunday night!

In the Irish Albums chart 'Back Home' is down this week at No.16 from last week's No.9 while 'Unbreakable: The Greatest Hits Vol.1' album is up two places at No.19.

In the Irish Singles chart 'Home' is at No.24 down from last week's No.17.

POP SENSATION WESTLIFE AND FORMER X FACTOR WINNER SHAYNE WARD JOIN THE SAW DOCTORS AT THE 2008 METEOR IRELAND MUSIC AWARDS

Pop sensation Westlife and former X Factor winner Shayne Ward have both been confirmed to perform at this year’s Meteor Ireland Music Awards at The RDS on Friday, 15th February.

Westlife and Shayne Ward will join Irish Supergroup The Saw Doctors as performers at this year’s event. With more acts to be announced over the coming days and weeks, fans can expect stellar performances from a host of international and Irish Superstars! The glittering music spectacular, now in its eighth year, will be hosted by Irish comedian Dara O’Briain who will be making his return as MIMA host!

Westlife are celebrating ten years at the top of the pop charts. Having sold 36 million records globally, awarded twenty eight platinum discs, no other pop group can compare to their extraordinary success. The band also picked up innumerable awards including a staggering nine Meteor Ireland Music Awards to date, while appearing on hundreds of magazine covers around the world. They are the only recording artists to win the prestigious “Record of the Year” four times. “The Love Album” was the biggest selling record of 2006 for label Sony BMG, with one million sales to date. Most recently, Westlife, after achieving the number 1 album position with “Back Home” have confirmed details of the ‘Back Home’ tour which will travel across the UK in February and March including a sold out Irish date in Dublin’s Croke Park on June 1st.

Unfortunately Westlife have not been nominated for a Brit Award... But I'm sure Westlife know that people love them, albums sales speak for themselves. It would have been nice to see them nominated but as mentioned before, critics are not fair with Westlife.
