Hot Chip want Westlife?
Hot Chip are apparently hoping that Westlife will cover one of their tracks.
The electropop band recently collaborated with Kylie on a single for her most recent album X - but it was dropped. Now they have their hopes pinned on the Irish boy band.
Band member Felix Martin told The Sun: "We've got a song called Bendable Poseable on the new record. I'd really like Westlife to cover it.
"A boy band version, with the moves, would be immense."
They also haven't ruled out working with Kylie again.
Frontman Joes Goddard added: "We'd really like to get a track done with her."
The group - whose third studio album, Made In The Dark, hits the shelves next month - have an unusual way of describing their material.
"Some of the songs are like vegetables that have been left in the cupboard," Felix explained. "Ready For The Floor is like a potato."

WESTLIFE ANNOUNCE ABERDEEN DATE
Irish boy band Westlife will appear at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre's Press and Journal Arena after additional tour dates were announced.
The band, which has sold 40million albums worldwide, had not initially been scheduled to appear in the Granite City, but will now perform on Friday, May 16.
The tour will feature songs from the album Back Home, which was released in November and has already sold more than 1million copies in the UK.
Westlife are no strangers to Aberdeen, having appeared at the AECC in 2003, 2006 and last year, with an intimate, free gig at the venue in October.
Clarke Milloy, managing director of the AECC, said: "We were very disappointed, as were many fans, when Westlife went on sale with a new tour which did not include Aberdeen. Therefore, we are delighted to be able to announce that they are now to return to Aberdeen, but for one night only.
"I expect that this announcement will excite fans and tickets will sell fast."
Tickets go on sale on Friday at a cost of £32.50 plus booking fee and are available from Ticketmaster on 08444 77 9000 or online at

Duff Hits South Bank for Day’s Second Joan Prize
Straight after collecting her Best Actress prize at today’s Critics’ Circle Awards, Anne-Marie Duff jumped in a car from the Prince of Wales theatre to the Dorchester Hotel and another lunchtime ceremony, the 12th annual South Bank Show Awards, where she collected the day’s second major award for Saint Joan.
The South Bank Awards, now in their 12th year and run by the ITV cultural programme, honour the UK’s creative talent across a wide range of the arts. Duff accompanied at both ceremonies by her actor-husband James McAvoy (pictured with Duff), most recently seen on screen in Atonement - accepted the Theatre trophy on behalf of the rest of the cast and creative team of the National Theatre’s production of Shaw’s Saint Joan, which ran in the NT Olivier last year as part of the Travelex £10 Season.
The big non-theatre excitement at the South Bank Awards was the presentation of Outstanding Achievement in the Arts to Harry Potter author JK Rowling. The Awards also cover Film, Comedy, TV Drama, Pop Music, Literature, Classical Music, Visual Arts, Opera and Dance. There are special prizes for diversity (Arts Council England Decibel Award) and newcomers (The Times Breakthrough Award).
The South Bank Show Awards ceremony will be aired, as part of the ITV1 arts programme hosted by Melvyn Bragg, this Sunday February 2008, including featured performances by Westlife and Andrea Bocelli.
Anne-Marie Duff has also been nominated for Best Actress in the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers’ Choice Awards, the only major theatre prize-giving decided by the public, for which online voting concludes on 10 February 2008, with winners unveiled on 22 February just before our first-ever Year on Year Concert, attended by numerous nominees and winners.

Westlife brings it home - Review (Australia)
ALBUM: Back Home
ARTIST: Westlife
LABEL: Sony/BMG
REVIEWER: Nathanael Cooper
RATING: 7.5/10
There is a reason Westlife are the third highest selling recording artists in the UK.
They only have to beat Elvis Presley and The Beatles to become number one and, with no end in sight, they might even come close.
Despite the fact they have been around for 10 years and have had a change in the line-up, they have evolved with time and moved from teeny-bopper pop in the late ’90s to being the masters of big ballads and love songs.
Their new album Back Home is another example of why Westlife is so popular.
Featuring an excellent variety of tracks, including a cover of Michael Buble’s incredibly popular Home, this album is a must have for anyone who enjoys listening to Westlife’s unique ability to take music to a higher level.
There is no shortage of the exquisite harmonies that have become their sound since losing Brian McFadden. They have taken songs that were already great and turned them into something sensational.
If they keep releasing albums of this calibre, Westlife will cement themselves as having done for boy bands what Dick Fosbury did for the high jump
